The 'Modern' No.3

The 'Modern' No.3 is our more modern take on the S Style guitar taking a few new ideas that we think makes this guitar as versatile as possible and ultra playable.

The 'Modern' boasts a 2-point trem and as standard a mini hum/s/s pickup combination, A set that we've worked hard on with the guys at Monty's picksups to help elevate what is sonically possible from a guitar.

Roasted Maple?!

Yes! If you've never tried a guitar which uses roasted maple (or torrified as it's also known) give it a go! the process of torrification gives very similar results to wood naturally ageing over tens of years.

This helps the wood sound closer to vintage instruments, the way that it changes the wood also makes it a lot more stable and less likely to be effected by changes in the climate.

Mini... But Mighty

You'll notice our Modern No.3 has an immediate standout feature in that we use a mini humbucker in the bridge position.

We truly feel this is the perfect pickup for a slightly hotter bridge position on a strat, it's fatter sounding than an overwound single coil but maintains the chime and clarity that players demand, all without sounding too thick like a lot of full size hum buckers.
